Resignation letter

 

I am sorry to say that this is my resignation letter as the leader of the progressive European party.

There are many reasons for this, both personal and practical. We, I, have so far failed to make the impact that we first thought that we could make. 

I can no longer, because of the rise in the cost of living in the UK, continue to finance the party out of my own resources. 

And I at the age of 68 feel that I want to spend more of the time that I have left with my grandchildren.

Most importantly I would like to thank all of you who have become members of pEp. 

And thank the three people who have made the greatest contribution to our party.

Selim Alpuvan, whose idea it was in the first place and who designed the pEp logo.

Brian Davey, who has given endless support online promoting our progressive ideas. 

And last but not least to John Coats whose progressive manifesto the whole party is based on.

John has taken time out from his political activity to write his new book because he feels that it could make a greater contribution to the changes in the world that are clearly needed.

What will I be doing now?  I want to spend time developing the online dream therapy/dream interpretation course that I put on hold because of Brexit. And get back into my martial arts that Covid put a stop to two years ago and maybe work on my next book that has been in the back of my mind for the last ten years.

If there should be anyone who wants to take over in the future I will be leaving our Twitter account, email account, Facebook page and group and website intact.
